Accessing your Voicemail and Setting up your Personal Greeting


Accessing your Voicemail
To access your voicemail; press “Message” button on the phone base to access to your voicemail (This button often looks like a piece of mail). If you are using a phone that does not have a messaging button calling *123 allow you the same access.
Quick Context Menu (Explained Below)
Press “0” to setup voicemail & change password
  • Option 1 → message for when you are not on a call
  • Option 2 → message for when you are on a call
  • Option 3 → record your name
  • Option 4 → Temporary Greeting
  • Option 5 → change password

Change your voicemail password
It is strongly recommended to change your default password.

Once you have logged into your mailbox, press the "0" button to enter your Mailbox Setup Options.

​Once in this menu, press 5 to reset your password.

Personal Greetings
Your voicemail has the ability to be setup to alert your callers to whether you are on the phone or away from your desk. We call this a Busy Greeting and an Unavailable greeting.

If desired; you can record a separate greetings for each occasion. An example of this would be as follows:

Busy Greeting: "Thank you for calling; you have reached the voicemail box for Chris Smith. I'm sorry I have missed your call. I am currently on the phone, however, please leave your name and number, and I will return your call shortly. 

Unavailable Greeting: "Thank you for calling; you have reached the desk desk of Chris Smith. I'm sorry I have missed your call, as I am currently away from my desk. Please leave your name, number, and a brief message after the tone, and I will return your call shortly. 

To record these greetings, login to your mailbox, and press "0" to enter the Mailbox Setup Menu.

Once in this menu: 
  • Option 1 → message for when you are not on a call (Unavailable Greeting)
  • Option 2 → message for when you are on a call (Busy Greeting)

Temporary Greeting
To record a temporary greeting (ie. Holiday Greeting)

Login to your mailbox, and press "0" to enter the Mailbox Setup Menu.

Once in this menu: 
  • Option 4 → Temporary Greeting
    • Option 1→ Record Temporary Greeting
    • Option 2 → Delete Temporary Greeting

To remove your temporary greeting, follow the instructions above and select Option 2 to "Delete your temporary greeting".

Note: This only changes the greeting on your personal mailbox. If you office is closing down for a period of time you will need to contact support and request a greeting change.

Company Directory - Recording your Name
Your company may have a company directory enabled allowing callers to dial by first or last name. By default the system will use an automated voice to say your name prior to transferring a call from the attendant.

​To record your name using your own voice, Login to your mailbox, and press "0" to enter the Mailbox Setup Menu.

Once in this menu: 
  • Option 3 → Record your Name
